Just back from some weekend adventures with my wife, our Subaru Forester, a suppressed PWS mk110 SBR (5.56,) and a suppressed HK MP5 (9mm.) I think there's also a Kahr CW9 in there somewhere.

Kinja'd!!!

What do you guys shoot, and where? I love Utah's deserts for this kind of thing.

Awesome picture.

I shoot trap with my Winchester Super X2. Do a bit of target with my brother's Marlin 30-30 and I love fucking around with all my .22's killing squirrels haha

I've got a pristine .30 M1 carbine that I break out occasionally as well. I love guns!

Except for the brand new Forester with the FB20 all foresters have had the EJ25 hood scoop or not.

Why does this look like a mingun roof mounted? A lot of enemy aircraft in Utah?

those suppressors have got to be nice for the ears. I normally just shoot my XDm (9mm) and occasionally break out the AR, but bullets are are too expensive to do that much. Just had a gun cleaning session this weekend, no shooting though.

I have a 1947 Mosin Nagant 7.62X54r as my only gun right now, but it's kind of a pain in the ass. It's not allowed in any indoor ranges around here, which isn't a huge deal, but it's really not something you want to shoot for any extended period of time.

It kicks hard enough to leave you sore at the end of the day, and heats up to the point of barely being able to hold it after trading back and forth for a few clips with a buddy.

I want to get a .22 for some target practice, and maybe a 9mm handgun at some point.

Looks like a fun trip! Great picture!

Ha yeah those Nagants are gnarly. The first guns I ever shot were 1930s Mausers, Springfields and M1 Garands. I love old guns

Yeah, I love suppressors. I've shot with them so much that I forget that you usually need to use earplugs when shooting. And I feel ya about ammo prices. Ha luckily for me, I work in the firearms industry.

Same! That's why I couldn't pass up Big 5 selling them for $79 with the Russian military standard issue tool and cleaning set. Those sales pop up every so often, but usually not that low.

Yeah, EJ253, I believe. NA. Turbo is an EJ255. I haven't been on the Forester forum in a while, though, so I might be wrong.

Oh, at that price you're required to buy one. ha. My latest favorite old gun is a Marlin 1895 chambered in 45-70. Just got one at work and put a silencer on it haha

I figured you did. To have that many suppressors, you either work in the industry, or are really good at paperwork.

Nice, I shot a repro Marlin lever action .44 a few years back. Crazy long barrel on that thing.

Nice looking guns, I've got a little bit of BRD. Looks like you have a suppressor on the PWS too.

I've got a cheap .223 (AR-15) from years ago and just built a 6.8 last fall. Haven't had too much of a chance to shoot it and I'm still trying to sort out a feeding issue. Saturday I put together a 6.8 for a buddy and we went shooting in his back yard. Actually we just finished putting it together, the lower was ready to go and we just had to put the upper together. Happily enough his gun runs perfect so I don't have to chase any problems around with his.

We are in the rural midwest, so shooting doesn't require going any farther than the back porch.

These are the 6.8's that we were shooting, his on top and mine on the bottom.

Kinja'd!!!

We were shooting at 55 yards just to get him on the paper. This is my best group shooting off a picnic table with no bags. Not too bad if I do say so. It might short stroke or fail to feed, but it still shoots better than I can. He was shooting pretty good too, but would always launch 1 flyer out of a 3 shot group. And when I say flyer I mean it would be off by an inch.

I realize this is about a week late, but I've been busy. Sweet guns. Love those 6.8s - nice groups, too!

No problem. Changed the gas rings this weekend and that didn't solve the problem so I moved on to polishing the inside of a carrier a little. We'll see if that worked or not. If this doesn't get it cycling I'm going to try with my buddies BCG and see if my rifle will cycle with his BCG. The cycling problem on mine frustrates me to no end since I've built several other AR's with no problems.

Grab a rubber buttpad for it. Shoot all day long and the only thing youll hurt is whatever you hit
